I’m so embarrassed to even post today…I think it’s been 6 months since I last posted a project! It’s not that I haven’t been doing anything crafty, or creative, but my life has gotten so busy with a big calling at church, being room mom in one of my kids classrooms, but still being a stay at home mom with a kid at home. I’ve been doing lots of things, just none that I’ve felt that you would really care about! But, I need to get over that… there are so many good ideas out there, and it’s fun to see fun ideas even for the simplest of things! So, for all of you classroom moms out there, here’s a fun and super easy idea to help your teacher out for Mother’s day. Create a photo opp for them, using just butcher paper and a few sheets of card stock.
Our teacher had them write out the ending to our sentence, starting with the word “she…” The answers we got from these first graders were darling, and I’m sure their moms will love the little frame that they make to go with this in the next couple of weeks. I’ll share what they do with the printed pictures when they come home!
I’m just going to print these out as 4 x 6’s at Sam’s Club and give them back to our teacher, and he has a plan for them! They’d be cute on the inside of a hand-decorated card, or inside a homemade frame. Lots of ideas to go on here! Have a great day!
