Another Georgia Twirl Dress

Another Georgia Twirl Dress

We had a special birthday weekend (She is 1!) with our little daughter and as part of a couple of religious events, B needed a white dress.  I decided to bust out one of my favorite patterns EVER, and make B the same dress as I made Emily (full pattern review) last spring- The Georgia Twirl Dress by Shwin Designs.

Dress Back

The tiny version came out just as cute as the big girl version.  It was just as easy and fun to make this time around too!

B Smile

B wears a size 12 months in most clothes and the 12-18mo sized pattern worked great.  It may be a tiny bit loose but it is still adorable.  I just made it a little shorter than the pattern called for, since B is short.

Dress Front

I was getting ready to make some little white shoes with some leather I have, but ran out of time.  So I used some of it to make a little bow headband and I just LOVE how it turned out.  The perfect way to use up tiny leather scraps!

So anyway, this pattern would make a perfect Christmas dress… you need it.  I promise.

Happy Sewing!

  1. After reading your blog post I browsed your website a bit and noticed you are not ranking nearly as well in the search engine as you could be. I possess a handful of blogs myself and I think you should take a look at speed rank SEO. You will find it a very good tool that can help you rank on the top of search engine, just search speed rank SEO on google. Keep up the quality posts
