We had a special birthday weekend (She is 1!) with our little daughter and as part of a couple of religious events, B needed a white dress. I decided to bust out one of my favorite patterns EVER, and make B the same dress as I made Emily (full pattern review) last spring- The Georgia Twirl Dress by Shwin Designs.
The tiny version came out just as cute as the big girl version. It was just as easy and fun to make this time around too!
B wears a size 12 months in most clothes and the 12-18mo sized pattern worked great. It may be a tiny bit loose but it is still adorable. I just made it a little shorter than the pattern called for, since B is short.
I was getting ready to make some little white shoes with some leather I have, but ran out of time. So I used some of it to make a little bow headband and I just LOVE how it turned out. The perfect way to use up tiny leather scraps!
So anyway, this pattern would make a perfect Christmas dress… you need it. I promise.
