White Eyelet Georgia Twirl Dress

Today I am so so excited to share my review of Shwin Design’s Georgia Twirl Dress.

When I first saw this dress pattern, I fell in love.  I immediately put it on my to-sew list.

A few months ago, I found this beautiful white eyelet fabric at Michael Levine in Los Angeles, on a fabulous little shopping trip there with my friend Caila.

I couldn’t wait to get started sewing!

White Eyelet Georgia Twirl Main

It was such a dreamy pattern to sew.

I lined the top and underskirt with a super soft white cotton and it went together perfectly.

White Eyelet GT Side Close Up

My favorite feature is the side bodice.  What an adorable design detail.  Genius.

White Eyelet GT Upper Back

I also ADORE the back.

I love the cute little V, not too low but low enough.  I used 3 small buttons and loved how that turned out.

White Eyelet GT Full Back

The skirt back is open, overlapping several inches.  To make my daughter comfortable, I just tacked it together in a few spots and that worked perfectly.

The twirl factor is a perfect 10- every little girl’s dream!

White Eyelet GT Side View

This pattern is so versatile, you can make a dressed up version, or make it casual.  So many fabrics would be fabulous!

The instructions were clear and concise and well written.  It was such a fun project to whip up.

If you haven’t picked up this pattern yet, go here and get it now, I promise you won’t regret it!
