Ice Cream Social Skirt…baby style

This week a friend of mine had a cute, girly baby shower.  It was so fun to think of a fun baby girl present.
I had lots of ideas, but not very much time.
Then last week, I was INSPIRED. By these baby circle skirts on MADE.  SO adorable.
Then, I thought of my Ice Cream Social skirt, and how fun it would be to make a baby version!  I actually cut out Dana’s 0-3 month pattern, and used it.  I had to play around with the band to get the right size, but after one mess-up, figured it out!

You also could easily make the skirt a different baby or toddler size following the adult
Ice Cream Social Skirt tutorial.

Same idea!
I used my serger to do a rolled hem…for the very first time.  It worked like a champ! So fun.
However, if you don’t have a serger you can finish it off with a hem, trim or even a little ruffle!
20 minutes each.
Can’t beat that!

Here is what you start with!

If you use Dana’s pattern, cut your yoga band 3″ tall by 13 1/2″ wide.
