So, I’m about to leave my 20’s behind. 30 seems sooo much older than 29, right? But any birthday is just an excuse to celebrate, so I broke out yet another cupboard door to help our family countdown to our birthdays…I’ve got 3 days and counting until I’m no longer 20-something.
This is a pretty easy project to do and you can probably figure it out on your own, but even still, I did lay out a simple tut, just in case.
I was trying to concoct a fun project to do with these long skinny cupboard doors that I had in the garage…this project seemed the perfect fit, but you could use any size board or cupboard door for this one!
Cupboard Door/Piece of wood
Package of Woodsies (from Joanns…it’s just craft wood)
Saw (or someone to cut your package of woodsies for you)
Step 1: Prep and spray your cupboard door your choice of color…
Step 2: A package of woodsies comes with 6 slabs of craft wood. Cut them all exactly in half.
Step 3: Drill holes in the center top of each of 12 of the pieces of wood…as close to the top as you can so they can easily fit on your outdoor hooks.
Step 4: Lay out where you’d like your wood ‘plates’ to hang, mark and drill holes for your two hooks, and screw them in!
Step 5: Spray paint your wood plates your desired color.
Step 6: Cut your vinyl and adhere it to each wood piece and your cupboard door (step not pictured)
**I used the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge
**Here are the numbers you need for a complete month countdown (12 plates)
0, 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
