Our Christmas Book advent is plugging along…here are the next 7 books that we have wrapped and ready to go!
December 11th: Christmas Oranges by Linda Bethers
–Make pomanders from oranges and cloves
December 12th: The Sweet Smell of Christmas by Patricia M Scarry (this is a fav from when I was little)
–Make a pot of (what we call) Ann Painter…that awesome stuff you cook on the stove to make your house smell good…YUM!
December 13th: Mortimer’s Christmas Manger by Karma Wilson (same author as the Bear Snores On…this book is DARLING!)
–Make Gingerbread Houses!
December 14th: Room for a Little One by Martin Waddell
— visit a pet store and hold some of the animals
December 15th: I Believe in Santa Claus by Diane G Adamson (links the idea of Santa Claus and Christ’s birth)
–Visit Santa Claus

December 16th: The Night Before Christmas by Clement C Moore (classic)
–wrap our presents for each other (secret time!)
December 17th: The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg
–Ride the free train at Goat Hill Junction (Costa Mesa)
